Theyyam comes to Trivandrum

Theyyam is a popular Hindu ritual form of worship of North Malabar in Kerala state, India. Theyyam seems to be traveling fast to other parts of Kerala. and finally arrives at the southern most part of Kerala, Trivandrum.

Trivandrum, is the capital of the Indian state of Kerala and the headquarters of the Thiruvananthapuram District. The city of Thiruvananthapuram (pop. 1 million) is the largest and most populous city in Kerala and is part of an extended metropolitan region (pop. 1.7 million)
The city gets its name from the word, Thiru-anantha-puram, meaning the "Abode of Lord Ananta". The name derives from Lord Sree Padmanabha or Ananta of the Padmanabha Swami temple at the centre of the city. Thiruvananthapuram is an ancient city with trading traditions dating back to 1000 BC.
